Sea & Mountain Adventures is a family-owned company which has hosted top-quality events in the wilderness of Nuuksio since 1994 and in the peninsula of Porkkala since 2008. Our idyllic log cabins Villa Kotkankallio in Porkkala and Karhunpesä and Safaritalo in the national park of Nuuksio offer relaxing places for meetings and get togethers, in the peace of wilderness.

We have only one group at a time in our facilities so the privacy is quaranteed. Villa Kotkankallio offer accommodation for groups in curtain separated alcoves under massive logs. Two saunas, swimming pool and jacuzzis gives a gentle relaxing touch to your body and mind. The Finnish cuisine and the surrounding archipelago has inspired us to create a variety of menus which makes your mouth watering. Our wine list and Finnish brewed beer completes these tastes. Villa Kotkankallio is fully licenced.

The food we serve is made in our own kitchen on site from fresh seasonal ingredients. The menu emphasizes both game and traditional Finnish cuisine. Salmon flamed on an open fire is a favorite all the year round. Customers’ dietary requirements are taken into account. Our facilities are fully licensed. Villa Kotkankallio is open only by request.

Villa Kotkankallio has a functional premises for meetings and festivities. A meeting room for 30 persons is attached to a cozy cabinet with an opean fire place for 10 persons. Our dining room is also suitable for meetings or parties for about 40 people. The upper floor has spaces suitable for team work if required. The Finnish cuisine and the surrounding archipelago has inspired us to create a variety of menus which makes your mouth watering. Our wine list and Finnish brewed beer completes these tastes. Villa Kotkankallio is fully licenced.

Sjundby Manor

Sjundby Manor is an authentic medieval stone castle, and it is presumably the oldest inhabited building in Finland still in use today. The history of the manor involves guests from all lines of life, such as royal guests from Sweden, famous finnish artist Helene Schjerfbeck, as well as Soviet soldiers, and perhaps also some ghosts. The restaurant Artalli is located in Siuntio, in the midst of nature by the shore of Lake Vikträsk, only 40 kilometres from the center of Helsinki. We welcome you by previous appointment all year round. Artalli is the restaurant connected with the activities of company Vapaaherranelämää offering fishing trips and boat tours in the archipelago. Our tours start by the Artalli sauna and takes you on to the scenic lake, the lush shores of the Pikkala river and all the way out into the dramatic archipelago.

We have several different kinds of boats to cater for all needs, including maritime programmes for big groups. Our flagship is ”the Pike”, an open deck boat, equipped with two 250 hp engines, side imagin sonars, best fishingear etc.

Boat can accommodate 10 fishermen to catch all types of fish with different tecniques, mostly by spinning reels / casting.

Your host, captain and fishing guide is Mr Henrik ” Roope” Rehbinder, who was elected the Fishing Guide of the year in 2015. Roope is also famous for participating in many food related TV-programmes.

The price for an exclusive conference day for 10 persons starts at €200.00 per person. Included in the price is conference venue and equipment, a fishing tour, the use of the sauna and the hot bathtub and finally a delicious meal to finalize the day with Roope.

A day tour with our well equipped ”normal size” boat costs from €600.00. The BIG boat takes you on an ”all in” fishing tour, costing from € 900.00.

Ragvalds Open Air Museum – local history and cultural flora

Ragvalds Open Air Museum is located along the route of old King’s Road, only 1½ kilometres from downtown Kirkkonummi. The rustic history of Ragvalds goes back to the 16^th century. The surroundings, artefacts and building stock of farmstead have remained untouched from the latest modern amendments.

Ragvalds belonged to the area of Soviet naval base during 1944-1956. In the Porkkala Parenthesis Exhibition one can get acquainted with the evacuation of region in 1944, life in and during the naval base era and the ambience felt in 1956 when the area was ceded back to Finland. Exhibition consists of old photographs and documents and items found from the area.

There are concrete items and a buoy of anti-submarine net related to the exhibition outside the Eliasvillan building.

Adults and children welcome!

Museum is open during summer Saturdays, on other times via pre-arrangement. One can explore the flora of the area spontaneously. It is advisable for the groups to arrange visits beforehand.

The entrance fee for the Ragvalds Open Air Museum is 2 € for adults.
